Terms and Conditions

  1. Rangers Charity Foundation Car Prize Draw is kindly supported by Douglas Park Ltd. and is open to all UK residents. To be eligible to enter the prize draw, a person must be 18 years of age or older. If an entry is made unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 18, they will be exempt from the draw and will forfeit their prize, if any. In such an event, the Charity shall decide at its full discretion the appropriate course of action in respect of such forfeited prize.
  2. The opening date for entries will be Thursday 31st October 2024.
  3. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on Friday 31st January 2025. Entries received after this time will not be accepted and any late purchases will be gratefully received as a donation to Rangers Charity Foundation.

  5. The maximum number of entries is limited to £100 (one hundred) per entry.
  6. Please note, that payment for entries can only be made by way of a debit card.
  7. QR Code* - you will be able to enter via the QR Code found on our website, newsletter, e-news and promotional materials.
  8. Additional incentive draws will take place throughout the duration of the prize draw period and will include additional “spot prizes”, however, all players that have purchased tickets or submitted an entry through the free postal entry route will still be entered in the prize draw.
  9. Free Postal Entry - Terms & Conditions**
    1. All free entries must be submitted by ordinary first or second-class post to the address below and only one entry per household is permitted
    2. Write your name, full address including postcode, contact phone number and email address on a blank sheet of paper or postcard to:

    3. This needs to be written very clearly. Illegible or partially legible entries will be deemed invalid. Postal entries must be received by us by the closing date set out in condition 3 above. We cannot accept liability for lost, late or delayed entries or for entries received with postage due, all of which will be ineligible for entry into Rangers Charity Foundation Car Prize Draw and confidentiality destroyed. We will not inform you if your entry is rejected. No printed or other mechanically produced entries will be accepted.
  10. By entering the Rangers Charity Foundation Car Prize Draw, the participant agrees to provide, at a minimum, their name, address, and contact information. Such personal data of the participants will be used by the Charity for the purposes of administration of the prize draw and on the legal basis of our contract with you under these terms and conditions.   11. In processing any personal data relating to the entrants we will at all times comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation of 2018.
  12. Rangers Charity Foundation cannot accept responsibility for any technical interruption, fault or site failure when purchasing online. Rangers Charity Foundation cannot take any responsibility for incomplete purchases. Any incomplete purchases will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw. Rangers Charity Foundation cannot accept responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
  13. A winner will be chosen by random number generator at Star Vale’s offices on Tuesday 4th February 2025. The draw mechanism will not distinguish between entries made through the free or the paid method of entry.
  14. The winner will receive a BMW 120i Sport kindly donated by Douglas Park Ltd. The vehicle will have accumulated mileage upon delivery. The car shall be owned by Douglas Park Ltd. in the first instance, before ownership is transferred to the winner of the prize draw. The car will be taxed and insured by Douglas Park Ltd. until the point of transfer of ownership to the winner. At the point of transfer of ownership, the Winner will be solely responsible for tax, insurance and all other future expenses relating to the prize.
  15. The prize will be collected by the winner from Douglas Park BMW Glasgow, 3 – 33 Kyle Street, Glasgow, G4 0HP.
  16. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) on or within one week of the draw taking place on Tuesday 4th February 2025. Participants must provide a postal address to claim their prize. In the event of a delay caused by, or arising from or in relation to, a Coronavirus epidemic or pandemic that prevents or delays notification of the winner, Rangers Charity Foundation shall notify the winner as soon as reasonably practicable and notify entrants of any delay. Rangers Charity Foundation shall make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If a winner does not respond to Rangers Charity Foundation within 20 days of being notified by Rangers Charity Foundation, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and Rangers Charity Foundation will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  17. Complaints
    Any complaints regarding the Prize Draw should be made in writing to the Chief Executive, Rangers Charity Foundation, 150 Edmiston Drive, Ibrox, Glasgow, G51 2XD or by email to rangerscharity@rangers.co.uk providing full details of the complaint and supporting documentation.
  18. The prize is kindly donated by Douglas Park Ltd. in support of the Rangers Charity Foundation. Rangers Charity Foundation reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Rangers Charity Foundation's control make it necessary to do so.
  19. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to Rangers Charity Foundation sharing the details of the winner with Douglas Park Ltd. to complete the vehicle registration.
  20. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  21. The car prize is taken at the Winner’s own risk. Insofar as is permitted by law, Rangers Charity Foundation, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Rangers Charity Foundation, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  22. Any repair and maintenance work/costs will be the responsibility of the Winner. Douglas Park Ltd. will provide relevant Warranty documentation.
  23. The decision of Rangers Charity Foundation regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  24. Subject to obtaining prior consent, the prize winner’s name will be published on the Charity’s website at www.rangerscharity.org.uk within 7 business days of the draw taking place.
  25. Subject to obtaining prior consent, upon accepting the prize, the winner may agree to take part in promotional activity and the Charity would request the right to use the winner’s name, photographs, and audio/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
  26. Rangers Charity Foundation will comply with any obligations it may have in relation to reporting information to regulatory organisations with regards to this prize draw.
  27. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. Rangers Charity Foundation reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

  29. The prize draw will be governed by Scots law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
